This book contains characterization of kaolin clay from Alkaleri, Bauchi Nigeria via X-Ray Diffraction, X-Ray Fluorescence, Thermal Gravimetric/Differential Thermal Analysis, Fourier Transform Infra Red, pore analysis and experimental determination of Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). the structural formulae of kaolin clay was calculated from XRF composition. Organo kaolinite clay was synthesized using surfactant 'Hexadecyltrimethylammonium Bromide', by CEC equivalent (monolayer modified) and CEC doubled (bilayer modified). Batch sorption experiment was conducted on oxyanions and the results evaluated for adsorption isotherms and pseudo kinetic models.
